Our World's Oldest Rodeo
Coming out of my grocery store yesterday, I couldn't help but notice the distinctive aromas of horses and, well, you know. Across the street, at the old rodeo and fairgrounds, is the World Series Team Roping event. This venue is as old as the World's Oldest Rodeo held there every year since 1888.
Horses are naturally curious and so beautiful, I couldn't help but stop to take a couple of photos without disturbing any of the cowboys or horses.
Prescott and Prescott Valley, and the surrounding areas, are very rural with thousands of acres of ranch and farm lands.
You never know when you might encounter a hardworking cowboy ambling through the grocery store or a few cows alongside of the road.
With fall in the air - as well - we will soon start to see fall colors on the trees!
We love fall colors and our fall leaf cluster design floating candles are hand-dipped in wax colors - no two are alike! When you create your fall centerpiece add a few fall candles for color and fun! Our fall leaves are hard-working too - the burn time is up to 7 hours - just perfect for a party. Grab a flea market find - like our brass buckets, add water, a few floating candles, light your candles and enjoy!
Next time you're "in the neighborhood" be sure to stop in to visit and shop in our store.
This is us ~ up on the hill heading into Prescott Valley. We have a big sign on a red facade around the top of the building.
