Armadilla Wax Works is on the move.

Hello friends,

You may know that we are in the midst of moving to a new location. Actually it will be back to a previous building in which we operated our business some 20+ years ago. The store may take some time to reorganize and reopen but we will be setting up the candle making and shipping and will be shipping online orders fairly soon. We do appreciate your patience with this delay but the location is best suited in size and location and it has a feeling of coming "back home". Local customers may recognize our neighbor, Cornerstone Chiropractic, who will remain in their same space in the building.

The candle business may see a few changes with a renewed focus on some of our most creative designs such as multi-layered colors and fragrances that reflect the Southwest. The Copper Canyon and Desert Rain collections, for example, may have a few new members - we've been looking into ideas to reflect the old town areas of Prescott, Jerome, Tucson or Tempe.

This area of Arizona is unique in that we bridge the Sonora desert and White mountain landscapes. It is not uncommon to see a prickly pear cactus growing along side a pine tree! Some of the heavily scented candles, we've made in recent years, will make way for more subtle, complex uses of fragrances and colors.

This is quite an undertaking at this stage in the life of the business and personally as well. We look forward to welcoming loyal and new customers and friends once we get settled but, remember, you will be able order on line and we should be able to fulfill orders fairly soon. Thanks so much.
